The cold of Niflheim stands for absolute inertia. This element seeks to implode and contract all that is. It seeks to bind all that is unordered into order. Ice constricts to one singular point of stillness. |

|
| |

It can be seen as a fierce opposing force, but it should never be forgotten that time allows healing as well as evolution. |

Earth |

| |
Earth forms due to the interaction of all the other elements and produces the world of Midgard. It represents that which is manifest within the physical world and shows that the physical is created by all the runic and elemental forces being focused from all around to the center. To work with runic forces in other worlds therefore affects the physical world. |
